Councilwoman Debbie Andriani


Debbie Andriani has been a resident of the Borough of Totowa for the past 19 years.  She and her husband Frank reside at 474 Totowa Road, with their three boys Frankie, Nicholas and Patrick.

Debbie is a graduate of Secaucus High School.  Upon graduation, she worked as a legal secretary until leaving to raise her boys.  When her children started school, she worked as a special education aide in the Totowa School system and was a member of the Totowa Library Staff.

            Debbie was appointed to the Borough of Totowa Board of Education in January 2010 and was elected to the Board in April, 2010. She was a member of the Totowa Parent Teacher Organization where she held several leadership positions including President.  Debbie was awarded the Totowa PTO’s Lifetime Membership in June of 2008.  She was Vice-President of the Passaic Valley Football Parents Association and was the chairperson of their Tricky Tray committee.  Debbie was a CCD teacher for St. James of the Marches Church, Totowa, Team Mom for numerous PAL sports and was active in the Junior Hornets Wrestling Program.  She is a member of the Totowa Republican Club and Friends of the Totowa Library and past President of the Library Foundation Board.

            Debbie was appointed to the Council in July of 2011.  She is Chairperson of the Liaison and Inspection Committee and a member of the Legislative and Ordinances Committee and Engineering and Public Property.
