Councilman Anthony Picarelli


Anthony Picarelli grew up in the Borough of Totowa and resides at Craig Court along with his parents, Domenic and Mary and brother Matthew.

Anthony is a graduate of Totowa Public Schools and Passaic Valley Regional High School.  While attending Passaic Valley Regional High School, Anthony was a Varsity Golfer and an active member of Passaic Valley Television Network.  He also volunteered his time as a basketball coach for the Totowa PAL.  He is a member of the Totowa Republican Club, Murph’s Boys Charitable Association and a parishioner of St. James Church.

After graduating from Passaic Valley in 2005, Anthony attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where he obtained a Bachelor of the Arts in History and Political Science.  He was a member of the Rutgers University Senate and the Vice President of the College Avenue Campus Council before graduating cum laude in 2009. 

Anthony is a graduate from Pace University School of Law, and is licensed to practice law in both New York and New Jersey.  He is now an Associate Attorney at Snellings Law LLC in Parsippany, NJ where he represents businesses in commercial litigation matters.

Anthony is currently serving as Chairman of the Budget and Finance Committee and is a member of both Legislation & Ordinance and Liaison & Inspection Committees. He also services as the Council Liaison for Totowa’s Shade Tree Commission.
