The primary function of the Department of Public Works (DPW) is the maintanance of all township roadways, traffic signs and signals, and right of ways. DPW also handles the repair and maintenance of police cars, fire trucks, and administrative vehicles, including all Department of Public Works trucks and heavy equipment. Ground maintenance of municipal property, recreation fields and firehouses, along with snow removal, is also included.
RECYCLING - The Department is also responsible for the recycling center. The yard is open Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings for those residents who are unable to stop during business hours. For more information on Recycling, click here.
VEGETATIVE WASTE - If you would like to purchase vegetative waste bags, the Department of Public Works sells bags for 35 cents each. These bags can also be purchased at the Municipal Clerks's Office. Click here for the Vegetative Waste Schedule.
