Councilwoman Lisa Palazzo


Lisa Palazzo has resided in the Borough of Totowa for the past 16 years.  She and her husband Dan reside at 78 Raphael Road, with their 2 children Nicolette and Dante.

Lisa is a graduate of John F Kennedy High School. Upon graduation she worked at Caldor’s, working her way up to manager.    She worked at Macy’s for 13 years and was a Senior Merchandising Executive.   After having children she worked as a vendor for Fossil. When her children were older, she went back to school at Fortis Institute for Medical Billing and Coding, where she was valedictorian of her class.  Lisa currently works at BioReference as a Medical Coding Specialist.

Lisa was a team mom for numerous PAL sports, where she assisted in the kitchen for football games. She was an assistant Girl Scout Troop Leader.   She helps her husband with the Passaic Valley Sting Baseball Program and volunteers with the PTO and is a member of the Totowa Republican Club.

Lisa was appointed to the council in March of 2018. She is Chairperson of the Legislative and Ordinances Committee, and serves on the Committee on Public Works and Liaison and Inspection Committee.

Lisa and her family are parishioners of Holy Angels Roman Catholic Church.
